Alex Matusak has spent more than twenty years in residential construction and renovation, including project management positions with established renovation companies in Vancouver. Running his own renovation company was the goal from a young age; LDR Construction is that company, brought home to Vernon.
The trade network he built over those years still does the heavy lifting: long-standing relationships with employees and subcontractors mean the right trade shows up at the right stage of your job. If Alex can't answer a renovation question on the spot, he knows exactly who can.
The mission has stayed simple since day one: deal fairly and honestly, use quality materials, and deliver full value for the money — with as little disruption to your household as a renovation allows.

We answer the phone.
Calls returned, e-mails answered promptly, meetings and job sites shown up to on time. Basic principles — we put them first.
The quote is the quote.
Detailed estimates up front, and pricing that holds unless we both agree to a change. Clients repeat it in review after review.
Proof before you sign.
One client wrote that her estimate arrived with copies of our insurance certificate, building license and testimonials included. That’s standard practice.
Finished means photographed.
The last stage of every job is a clean site, a walkthrough together, post-project check-ins — and a professional photoshoot of the space.

LDR Construction is licensed and fully insured, and the estimate you receive says so in writing. Alex keeps his industry education current through BC Housing's Continuing Professional Development program.
